AMF is the world's largest owner and operator of bowling centers. Since the introduction of the automated pinspotter in 1946, AMF has been a leader in the bowling industry. More than 20 million bowlers per year make AMF their bowling destination of choice. AMF is where America goes bowling.

    Very helpful
The approach was dangerously slick while the lane seemed virtually unoiled. The approach should be clean and the lane oiled, not the other way around. This was not-league play and I don't think I'd want to join a league there.
I had a really great bartender named Andrea. She was super attentive and down to earth. Made us laugh and she knew a lot about basketball while we were watching the OKC game. Her manager crystal was great too. We talked to her for a bit when Andrea went on her break and answered our questions about having a birthday party there.
Your website doesn't give pricing, I called the bowling alley to ask for pricing but nobody answered, my 2 kids and I get there and the guy tells us it's $5 for shoes and $6 for each game for the 3 of us but keeps my credit card on file while we play. We played 3 games then find out it's a total of $75 for the 3 of us! We were there maybe 1 hour for $75!! I spoke with the manager and she said that the game price was per person. This was not communicated to me when we arrived. I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism at this location. I will tell everyone and anyone I speak to not to go to Bowlero ever again. When it was AMF, the prices were reasonable, they were posted on the website or over the phone, and the personnel was much more professional that what I experienced yesterday.
    Kitchen was very slow.
This is the second time in a row we have had a poor experience here. The renovation and changes are nice. Its a really cool place and nice place to bowl. The problem is the customer service is just too poor. You simply did not do a good job choosing employees. I manage employees so I understand its not easy, but a couple of them are just really bad, poor at multitasking and handling customers. A couple were also really good, so they aren't all bad of course. The older white man with gray hair is simply a jerk. he can't hand it when its busy, gets him super anxious and rude. Made us wait in line just to swap my 7 year olds shoes that didn't fit because he said "I'm too busy to help you and its going to be a while." Who says that to a customer? Especially a customer that just reserved a lane for him and his two kids and hand't even started bowling yet. He gave us two different shoes and all I wanted was a quick swap. He also put us on a lane with a shared couch that the lane next to us had 12 family hanging out and we had no seats and didn't think its our responsibility to go tell the family to move since they were all sitting in our lane. He should be smart enough to look at the lanes before assigning people. there were 5 open lanes in a row next to us. I asked someone else who WAS helpful on the lane if a party was coming in and they were reserved. Since the old man would not exchange our shoes and the line was suddenly long and the process he sues to book lanes is slow it was going to be at least a 20 minute wait to just ask for a lane change. I figured I'd get 1 thing from the bar while waiting but then the bartender was filling drink orders and didn't even acknowledge me for 5 minutes! All she needed to say was "I'll be right with you." Nothing...just makes me stand there while she is filling a tall beer. I'd be pretty embarrassed if I owned this bowling alley and had the lazy employees and poor customer service. Its too bad too because they make a bad name for everyone else there. My kids suddenly love to bowl, but I'm only giving it one more chance. If this happens a 3rd time I will never be back. There is another bowling alley not too far away.
    Atmosphere is always fun.
They're fast and friendly. Always offer the best service. The staff is always friendly even when they're busy. The place is always clean and the atmosphere is so great :) It's easy to get our games started. My husband and I love doing date night there at your location in San Marcos. Always such a great time! I'm so glad you guys are so close to where we live!
The bowling alley is very nice and clean but it is too expensive for the average family. Six of us for two games on a Saturday afternoon was $109.62 before the $20 coupon so it's unlikely we will be back unless there happens to be a special rate on a weekend. $5.49 for shoe rental is really high in my opinion. Also the scoreboard is not big enough to show all 6 bowlers at the same time and screen is hard to follow.
